Principal and Chief Mountmaker Denise Fordham has specialized in exhibition installation since 1978. Denise was principle mountmaker for the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, on staff from 1981 to 1997. She was responsible for the design and construction of custom mounts and the installation of three-dimensional objects for large-scale exhibitions, both permanent and traveling, at the M.H. de Young Memorial Museum and the California Palace of the Legion of Honor.
Denise has extensive training in museum procedures and art handling. She is skilled in woodworking and metalworking, including welding, brazing, and machining.
